We are looking for a postdoc to take over an exciting fMRI project in the lab on the brain networks supporting spatial and intuitive physics reasoning. The project builds on our recently published work by Fiave et al., 2026: A ventro-temporal area supporting human allocentric representations (https://www.cell.com/current-biology/fulltext/S0960-9822(26)00806-7).
We are completing data collection and are already advanced with the analyses. We are looking for someone who could take over the project when our current postdoc leaves, while also bringing their own contribution to the conceptual framing, further developing and deepening the analyses, and ultimately taking the lead on the revision process.
This would be a one-year postdoctoral position, starting January 1st, potentially renewable depending on the successful securing of additional funding and the candidate’s interest. Strong expertise in fMRI data analysis is important. We are primarily looking for someone at the postdoctoral level, although this is not a strict requirement and we would be open to considering a strong candidate with the right expertise.
I would be very happy to provide more details and discuss it further with anyone who might be interested.
