The Health and Gender Unit at Unisanté invites applications for an SNSF-funded PhD position aimed at advancing understanding of brain health, aging, and Alzheimer’s risk in underrepresented populations.

The Diverse Brains Project builds on growing global efforts to close a critical gap in neuroimaging research: most brain imaging studies have historically relied on samples that exclude much of the world’s population. This PhD project will investigate how sex/gender, race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and geography shape brain health across the lifespan, using innovative portable MRI technology and international neuroimaging datasets.
