Dr. Sébastien Ollier

I am Associate Professor at the Department of Ecology and Evolution (University Paris-Saclay, France: Webpage). At the moment, I am on sabbatical as biostatistician in Cleo’s group at the Department of Ecology and Evolution (University of Lausanne, Switzerland).

I am interested in the study of dispersal processes in socio-ecosystems. The objective is to develop statistical methods allowing the characterization of the spatial-temporal processes linked to these dispersion phenomena. My research focuses the impacts of human-induced mobility (trade and migration) on biological invasions, particularly ants. I am also interested in comparative analysis (evolution of ants color) and spatial statistics, developing tools for these biostatistical areas of research.
