Samuel’s talk, “Leveraging language models and proteomics to disentangle drug and disease effects in human proteomics”, was presented at ESHG 2026 in Gothenburg on June 14, where he received an Early Career Award.
The award, selected by the ESHG Scientific Programme Committee, recognizes strong scientific work and presentation by early-career researchers. Samuel’s presentation focused on the use of language models and large-scale proteomic data to better distinguish the effects of medications from those of the diseases for which they are prescribed.
