Tristan obtained his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Paris (France) in 2020, where he then started a master’s degree in genetics.
During the first year, he did an internship in plant epigenetic research at the Jean-Pierre Bourgin Institute in Versailles. As he wanted to improve his bioinformatics skills before completing his master’s degree, he spent one semester studying programming and statistics at the University of Paris, and then joined the SGG group in 2022 for an internship.
Under the supervision of Eleonora Porcu, he is trying to characterize causal relationships between DNA methylation and complex traits using summary statistics derived from GWAS and molecular QTL studies.
