Théo grew up in France before moving to Switzerland for his university education. He began his academic journey at the University of Lausanne (UNIL), where he completed his undergraduate degree in Biology. His passion for science led him to further his studies at the same university, specializing in Molecular Life Science with a particular focus on Bioinformatics for his Master’s Thesis.
In 2022, Théo commenced his Ph.D. at UNIL, becoming part of a research group led by Anna-Sapfo Malaspinas and under the co-supervision of Zoltán Kutalik. His research is primarily centered on population genetics, especially in the context of ancient DNA. Concurrently, he is also deeply interested in addressing the ethical and privacy concerns related to the sharing of genetic information.
