Originally from Barcelona, Marion moved to Lausanne to study Biology and specialised in Bioinformatics during her MSc in Molecular Life Sciences at UNIL.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of data analysis and applied clinical solutions. In 2018, she began her PhD at the Computational Biology Department under the supervision of Matthew Robinson and Zoltán Kutalik.
Her project focuses on method development to infer the genetic architecture of common complex traits. She also collaborates with the CHUV on a project in maternal health to investigate links between maternal phenotypes and birth outcomes.
