Jonathan Sulc obtained his MSc in Molecular Life Sciences with a specialization in Bioinformatics from the University of Lausanne in 2015, where he worked on qualitative modeling of the human beta cell. He then worked at the Laboratory for Research in Neuroimaging at the Lausanne University Hospital, where he studied the association between gene expression in the blood and structural changes in the brain linked with the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. In 2017 he began a PhD in the Statistical Genetics Group, where he is investigating the genetic architecture of obesity and its potential link to difference in brain morphology between individuals.
