My name is Sadegh Rizi, and I’m an undergraduate in biotechnology at the University of Tehran. I’m fascinated by how mathematics, statistics, and programming can help unravel mysteries in molecular biology. To explore my interests, I applied for an internship at the SGG group in UNIL, where I’m currently working on metabolite ratio causality. The project aims to see which proteins have causal effects on metabolite ratios and which metabolite ratios are causal to some diseases. In my free time, I like to play soccer and table tennis. Also, I’m a big fan of fantasy!
