Emilie obtained her bachelor degree in biology in 2017 at the University of Lausanne. After that, started a masters degree in Molecular Life Science with Bioinformatics specialization. Having always been attracted by computer science she wanted to discover another aspect of biology.
She first made her first-step project in population genetic with Anna-Sapfo Malaspinos group (Computational Biology Department), which she greaty enjoyed. Emilie then joined the statistical genetic group for her master thesis under the supervision of Zoltán Kutalik and Cristian Carmeli. Her masters project focuses on the genetics of Zinc homeostasis.
