Damia Noce graduated in Biostatistics and Experimental Statistics at University of Milan-Bicocca (Italy) in 2010. Between 2008 and 2009 she was a research fellow at the Unit of Geriatric Epidemiology in the Institute for Pharmacological Research of Milan. Between 2010 and 2011 she moved for a collaboration of few months to the Scientific Institute for Hospitalization and Care in Rome. Since July of the same year Damia worked at the Department of Epidemiology Regional Health Service in Rome. She joined the EURAC Institute in Bolzano in September 2013, where she developed strong skills in genome-wide association analyses and heritability estimates of quantitative traits. Two years later started her PhD at the Medical University of Innsbruck (Austria) to improve her knowledge in the field of the genetics and analysis of complex phenotypes. In 2018 Damia spends 3 months as a visiting PhD student in the SGG.
