Stay at NGU (Norway) for M. Jaboyedoff

The collaboration of the Risk-Group ISTE is still ongoing with the Geological survey of Norway (NGU). M. Jaboyedoff stayed there from 25 to 31 January to work with the natural hazard group led by Dr. Reginald Hermanns. The goal of this stay was to work on papers about:

  • Rockfall inventory and distribution in space and time with Dr. M. Böhme (former PhD student of M. Jaboyedoff at NTNU, Trondheim).
  • Landslide inventory and automatic volume estimation (Dr. I. Penna and Dr. T. Oppikofer both former members of our group)
  • Special issue of the last slope tectonics conference

Several subjects were discussed such as strategy for drone and photogrammetry, Flow-R application etc.
