Fezouata Fossils Apero

To celebrate the arrival of a great many fossils from Morocco – beautifully preserved soft-bodied fossils from the Fezouata Biota – the ANOM Lab hosted an apero in the Institute today. Some of these fossils were on display, which even managed to draw people away from the table of booze (for a few minutes at least)!

Welcome Harrie, Steve, and Lukas!

The ANOM Lab is very happy to welcome Harrie Drage, Steve Pates, and Lukas Laibl to Lausanne. Harrie and Steve are joining us here at UNIL for the last year of their PhDs, after spending the first few years of their doctoral studies at Oxford University. Lukas Laibl joins us for a 2-year postdoctoral position as Arthropod Research Project Manager. We are looking forward to working with them, and wish them all the best for their time here on Lausanne!
