We are happy to announce that one of our external collaborators – Dr. Greg Edgecombe from the Natural History Museum, London – was elected as Fellow of the Royal Society. Many congratulations Greg!
I headed off to Seville to give an invited lecture at the Andalusian Center for Developmental Biology yesterday. It was wonderful to receive such a warm welcome by everyone at the CABD, and the discussions after and before the talk were fascinating. I was particularly honoured to have been chosen by the PhD students and Post-docs as their annual invitation to the seminar series, by popular vote no less! The research going on at the CABD is truly astounding. Thank you for fantastic day!
