Kanglei Song is a PhD student from Chongqing University, China, whose research focuses on monitoring and early warning of slow-moving landslides in the Three Gorges reservoir area of China. He will spend one year as a visiting PhD student in the RISK Group at the institute of earth sciences, UNlL under the supervision of Prof. Michel Jaboyedoff. During this period, he will focus on using multi-source data fusion technology to improve the accuracy and efficiency of landslide monitoring and early warning.
