Fengchang Bu is a newcomer Ph.D. candidate at the Risk Group, Institute of Earth Sciences, University of Lausanne, focusing on the inversion of sliding surfaces of rockslides under the supervision of Prof. Michel Jaboyedoff. In the past, he completed the cultivation program for the Master’s Degree in the major Geological Engineering at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In the following several years, he will work on theoretical analysis, experiments, numerical modeling, and geological survey to implement the Ph.D. plan.
