Hello, my name is Tianxin Lu and I have started my PhD at the Risk Group, Institute of Earth Sciences, UNIL. I obtained my master’s degree in Earth and Space Sciences at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), where I also completed my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology. My previous research involved long-term optical slope monitoring and laboratory landslide experiments, and I have experience in machine learning and deep learning.
During the PhD, I will continue studying geological hazard processes while advancing terrain surface data reconstruction for improved monitoring and modeling accuracy.
