With the recent increase in rainfall, a new shallow landslide occurred in Ollon on December 1, 2023. As per the request from CSD, the Risk analysis group (Ph.D. students: Antonin Chalé, Amalia Gutierrez, Zenan Huo, and Li Fei ) conducted a remote sensing survey on-site on December 7. We utilized VZ2000i, and DJI M300RTK L1 to acquire three-dimensional point clouds, and Pixplorer was employed to capture high-resolution panoramic photos of the landslide. The ultimate goal of this field survey is to obtain the latest Digital Elevation Model (DEM), calculate the volume of the landslide, and generate several cross-sectional profiles.
