One of the monthly meeting within the CHANGES project for development of a Spatial Decision Support system (SDSS)
The purpose of these meetings is to present the current results of each components of the system and synchronize the activities within the five members of group.
In the framework of CHANGES Project a spatial decision support system is under development with the aim to analyze the effect of risk reduction planning alternatives on reducing the risk now and in the future, and support decision makers in selecting the best alternatives. The interface based on open source software tools should be able to analyze risk scenarios that can be used in disaster response planning and in risk reduction strategies. These interfaces will be designed user-friendly to make hazard and risk information better accessible and to support the interpretation of this information by additional features for analysis.
