During the 14th Congress of the International Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment (XIV IAEG Congress 2023), Professor Michel Jaboyedoff was invited by Professor Wei Hu from Chengdu University of Technology to visit the State Key Laboratory of Geohazard Prevention and Geoenvironment Protection (SKLGP) on the morning of September 25, 2023. During the visit, Professor Wei Hu introduced the various large-scale experimental equipment in the laboratory to the visiting researchers. He also showcased the ongoing research projects and progress of his research group, engaging in discussions on some specific issues. Li Fei, a doctoral student from the Risk Analysis Group, also participated in this visit. This visit strengthened the mutual understanding between the two research groups, and we extend our gratitude to Professor Wei Hu for the invitation.
