Cheng Zhan is a PhD student of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), majoring in geological engineering. He will carry out research work in the Risk Group at UNIL for 18 months as a visiting scholar supported by CSC scholarship (2023.2.1 – 2024.7.31), and his supervisor is Professor Prof. Jaboyedoff. His research project is UAV photogrammetry-based Intelligent landslide identification. During the period of UNIL, he will focus on intelligent analysis of landslide geological characteristics, application of image recognition technology, and early prediction of geological disasters.
