Andrés’ main research interests include machine learning techniques applied to signal and image processing.
Short Bio
Andrés was born in Barcelona, Spain, in 2000. He will receive his degree in Telecommunications Engineering (ETSETB) from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in July 2022. He is currently doing an internship funded by the ProTechno Foundation under the supervision of Dr. Hélène Lajous at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV). His research project consists in improving the numerical model of the developing fetal brain by modeling white matter heterogeneity and changes throughout maturation to simulate realistic T2-weighted magnetic resonance images of these sensitive subjects.
