Research interests: Having completed my Bachelor of Biology at UNIGE last year, with a year abroad at UBC, Canada, I am now interested in pursuing my studies in ecology. Passionate about aquatic environments and organisms, I explored the physiological adaptations of marine mammals to deep and long-lasting dives for my Bachelor’s monograph.

Now at UNIL, I am investigating the potential predation of the invasive quagga mussel on Lake Geneva’s zooplankton for my master’s thesis. To do so, I will run an ex-situ predation experiment, and in parallel, develop a population dynamics model of the lake’s zooplankton population. I will then compare the observed mortality rates and see if quagga mussels are the culprits of the current zooplankton’s decline.
