Short bio
Busra graduated in 2024 as an applied mathematics engineer from ENSTA Paris, France, with a double degree in optimization and data science. She completed her master’s thesis at the Center for Imaging at EPFL on learning-based deconvolution methods for microscopy. Her research interests focus on bridging advances in deep learning with their application to real-world data with clinical impact.
In December 2024, Busra joined the lab. Her Ph.D. addresses domain shifts in clinical pediatric neuroimaging. She develops deep learning–based super-resolution methods to support reliable assessment of fetal brain maturation from low-field MRI. One of her main research directions is the characterization of T2 relaxation times as biomarkers of brain development.
