Tommaso Bertoni

Since 2017 I am a PhD student at the MySpace lab. My project aims to investigate how the representation of the body and the peripersonal space emerges from multisensory integration in healthy humans. To do so, I combine biologically plausible neural network models inspired by machine learning, and behavioral experiments. Other projects focus on sensorymotor integration and sense of agency in humans, with the final aim of of bridging the two subjects in order to better understand bodily self-consciousness.
