We are organizing days of application training on the PET/CT Si78 Bruker, please let us know at ivif@chuv.ch if you are interested.
We are happy to announce the installation of a new multi-photon microscope at the IVIF on the AGORA site. It is an advanced system, equipped with a Mai-Tai laser (690-1040 nm) and an InsightX3 (690-1300 nm) from spectra physics on the top of 4 detectors. This will allowed excitation and emission of at least 4 colors simultaneously. It became possible thanks to the recruitment of Pr. Mikael Pittet to Agora. It will be soon available for booking on IRIS.
The calibration data on the Advanced Treatment Planning (ATP) software has been correctly installed. As such, the system installation and commissiong is finally completed.
From Monday, November 4 to Friday, November 8 the 3T MRI system will not be bookable due to maintenance. A backup water system will be installed and as such, the system will be intermittently down. Please contact us if you would like to arrange limited scan sessions on Wednesday, November 6 and Thursday, November 7. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Most of the installation and commissioning have been performed last week. We are still missing the 5 mm collimator. We have had a setback in completion of the training. A small piece that controls the mechanical opening/closing of shutter of the detector broke. A technician is coming on Thursday 10th of October for reparation. Finally the commissioning for the missing collimator should be performed next week.
