Two-Photon Excitation and Intravital Microscopy

Two-photon excitation microscopy is a fluorescence imaging technique that allows imaging of living tissue up to about one millimeter in depth. With limited photo damage it is the method of choice for imaging of cell behavior in an intact tissue. At the IVIF, we are equipped with 3 systems and offer expertise on minimally invasive surgery.
