The facility is equipped with a 3 Tesla small-bore scanner (Bruker BioSpec® 30/18). This system has superior cryogen-free magnet design that eliminates the need for liquid helium. A complete radiofrequency (RF) coil portfolio for mouse functional and structural imaging is available, including RF coils for head, brain and body applications. A Bruker CryoProbe™, which provides a significant sensitivity boost over room temperature RF coils, will be added to the portfolio early in 2020.
