Vice-director: Christian Kaiser

Christian Kaiser is senior lecturer in cartography and Geovisualization at the Institute of geography and sustainability since 2012. Previously, he was PostDoc at the National Centre for Geocomputation, National University of Ireland Maynooth, and «Oberassistent» at the Department of Geography, University of Zurich

As regard the teaching activity, Christian is responsible of the BS course  “Cartography and GIS”, and the MS course “Geovisualisation and Data Analysis”.

His main research activity are in the domain of Computational GIScience and on the development of innovative tools of dynamic and interactive visualisation.
