As a former Montessori teacher (AMI diploma, 2010), Solange Denervaud is interested in how school experience impacts brain development. She completed a Biomedical Engineering degree (EPFL-SV, 2013), and then a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience (CHUV-UNIL, CISA). Her Ph.D. project, supervised by Prof. Patric Hagmann, explored performance monitoring development in 5-12 yo. Schoolchildren. Her current studies emphasize cognitive flexibility and creativity development, as well as peer-peer learning with a multi-modal approach (behavior, fNIRS, MRI, and modelization).
