[London] Alumni Connect 2026

The Ambassador of Switzerland to the United Kingdom, Mr Dominique Paravicini, has the great pleasure of inviting you to Alumni Connect 2026, a networking evening uniting Swiss university alumni and students in the UK. A keynote by the director General of the European Council for Nuclear Research (CERN) will take place during this event.

GUEST OF HONOUR
Mark Thomson has served as Director-General of CERN since 2026. A distinguished British physicist specializing in particle physics, he previously held senior scientific and academic positions at the University of Cambridge and played a leading role in several international research collaborations at CERN. Professor Thomson is widely recognized for his contributions to experimental high-energy physics and for advancing global scientific cooperation in the field of fundamental research.
