Since 2011, Unil graduates with a bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree automatically become members of the network. They receive an email with their login credentials for the Alumnil platform at the time of their degree request and therefore do not need to fill out the membership form.
Who can join by application?
Individuals whose membership is not automatic can also submit their application if they are:
- holders of a Unil degree prior to 2011
- holders of a joint degree programme between UNIL and a partner higher education institution (Universities, EPF, HES, Institutes, etc.)
- holders of a continuing education diploma or certificate (CAS, DAS, MAS, MBA, or EMBA, etc.) issued by Unil or the UNIL-EPFL Continuing Education programme
- students who are or have been enrolled at Unil as part of an academic exchange program for at least one semester
- faculty members of Unil (with a contract of at least one year)
- retired PAT staff members
Applications from individuals who are not graduates but have a connection to Unil through their studies, engagement, or professional activity at Unil, and who support the objectives of the Alumnil community, may be considered at the discretion of the Alumni office. A motivated membership application must be sent to the Alumni office at contact.alumnil@unil.ch.

Please allow a few days for us to validate your request and send you a welcome message with your login credentials for the Alumnil platform.
