Alumni in the world

The Alumnil network spans more than 100 countries around the world. It brings together a diverse community of members with a wide range of professional backgrounds and experiences, representing several generations of Unil graduates.

Throughout the year, invitations to events organised by Swiss institutions abroad are regularly shared with our alumni living internationally. These events offer opportunities to make new connections and expand their professional networks in their country of residence.

Welcome Abroad

The Welcome Abroad service connects students undertaking exchange programmes or other study opportunities abroad, as well as members of the network planning to relocate overseas, with relay persons who can offer guidance and support.

These relay persons are members of the Alumnil network who have been living abroad on a long-term basis and are willing to share practical information about the city or region where they live. Each year, they help students prepare for their time abroad by providing useful advice and recommendations.
