Most of the installation and commissioning have been performed last week. We are still missing the 5 mm collimator. We have had a setback in completion of the training. A small piece that controls the mechanical opening/closing of shutter of the detector broke. A technician is coming on Thursday 10th of October for reparation. Finally the commissioning for the missing collimator should be performed next week.
CLE – Installation microCT and Optical Imaging (MILabs) delayed
Unfortunately, due to a delay in the procedure of cleareance at the swiss border the installation and training on the MILabs system have been delayed. I am waiting for more informations from the company to give you an updated schedule.
My apologies for registered users to the hands-on training. I will keep you in the loop.
CLE – Two-photon Lavision is up and running
The two-photon microscope from Lavision has been reinstalled last week and is now functioning normally. Please let me know if you want to use it again as the software has been updated the interface may be different according to the application.

AGORA – Installation and training on X-RAD SmART (PXI)
Here is the timeline for the PXi X-RAD SmART installation and training.

AM: Check in, perform acceptance testing and calibrations.
PM: If all systems are good, being acquisition of commissioning data.
–Tuesday Oct 1st
Continue to acquire commissioning data on SmART system.
–Wednesday Oct 2nd
Finalize all commissioning data. If available, train super users and physicists on calibration tasks and dive deep into the treatment planning system.
–Thursday Oct 3rd and Friday Oct 4th
User training.
CLE – Installation microCT and Optical Imaging (MILabs)
Here is the timeline for the installation of the microCT and the Optical Imaging system (IVIS like) from MILabs in room CLE C 104. On October 16th there will be a hands-on training. Only a limited number of users can attends but we will organise later on a more detailed three-days training with an application scientist. Please contact us if you want to attend the training.
