As a core facility dedicated to service at the Faculty of Biology and Medicine, we serve in priority investigators from all departments of the UNIL. We are providing full service, training on all our instruments and autonomous access to trained users. External users are welcome to contact us to discuss opportunities.

Today is a big day for us. ThermoFisher Scientific is delivering our Aquilos2 at EMF. Our users will be able to work on cryolamellae and image them in the Dubochet Center for Imaging. it is a big challenge for the facility to offer such a service. The microscope will be located in what was long time ago the office of Jacques Dubochet. It is closing a cycle for the University of Lausanne and reopen another one. This laboratory is back in the cryo business. We embrace the challenge with enthusiasm driven by the expectations of our users. Ce microscope permet par exemple de visualiser vos blocs, prendre des mesures sur vos blocs, ou vérifier vos semifines. grâce à sa tête pivotante, vous pouvez visualiser vos échantillons à divers angles! N’hésitez pas à nous contacter si vous êtes intéréssés!
