Tim Flückiger joined the CHUV–UNIL Translational Magnetic Resonance Research Lab in September 2025 as a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Matthias Stuber, where he focuses on low-field magnetic resonance imaging.
In spring 2025, he obtained a Master of Science in Robotics, Systems, and Control from ETH Zurich. His thesis was carried out in collaboration with Balgrist University Hospital, where he developed an automatic multi-camera calibration method for 3D surgical scene reconstruction. He completed his degree through an internship at Bern University Hospital (Inselspital), where he led a project on fully automated 3D organ reconstruction using stereo vision.
Beyond research, he is passionate about videography and cinematography, enjoys sports, and likes to explore hidden places in nature.
