Jean-Baptiste Ledoux is a french radiology technician specializing in magnetic resonance imaging. He studied physiotherapy and obtained a bachelor’s degree in radiology from Haute École Louvain en Hainaut (HELHA) in Charleroi, Belgium in 2010.
During his studies, Jean-Baptiste participated in an Erasmus internship at the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) and was subsequently integrated as a full-time employee upon completion of studies. In 2013, Jean-Baptiste was promoted to radiology technician coordinator for the CIBM and then shortly thereafter to head radiology technician of Musculoskeletal MR Imaging. In 2015, he obtained a certificate in Advanced Study in Clinical Research (University of Lausanne).
His tasks consists of, but is not limited to, developing new MR protocols using the latest available sequences, commercial and experimental; and to provide support to researchers and clinicians. Moreover, he actively trains entry-level technicians and radiology trainees. Additionally, in order to provide the highest image quality and high reproducibility, he is actively engaged in research studies with radiologists, clinicians and engineers ensuring that they are organized and carried out seamlessly.
Finally, since 2017, Jean-Baptiste is responsible for teaching musculoskeletal MR Imaging at Haute École de Santé Vaud (HESAV, Lausanne, Switzerland).
