Jana joined the CHUV-UNIL Translational Magnetic Resonance Research Center as a PhD student in July 2022. She works under the supervision of Dr. Jérôme Yerly on detailed structural imaging and comprehensive characterization of the arrythmogenic myocardial substrate.
Jana received her BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from TU Darmstadt, Germany, and her MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering from TU Berlin. During her master thesis at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Berlin, she worked in Prof. Schaeffter’s group on motion-corrected T1 mapping of the abdomen.
Outside of work, Jana likes literature, languages, dancing, and good food.
