Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV)
Rue de Bugnon 46

Electrical Engineer by background, with a specialization on medical devices, she graduated at the Politecnico di Torino in Italy. She immediately showed an interest in neuroscience research that she developed first as junior scientist in MRI at the Radiology department at the CHUV, then with a PhD in life sciences at the UNIL on multimodal brain imaging. Under the supervision of Prof. R. Meuli and Prof. P. Maeder she developed and integrated brain imaging techniques to track the anatomical and functional development of high order visual functions.

She then applied her knowledge in fMRI protocols setup and data analysis to a variety of cognitive functions spanning from development of healthy brain to cognitive decline in diseases, pre-surgery functional planning or rehabilitation after stroke.

She joined the CIBM since its creation and, as a senior research scientist and operational manager at the MRI-CHUV section, she shares her experience in MRI acquisition methods and analysis with research scientists willing to develop their projects. Since 2015 she is also a member of the Ethics Committee for human research, and she supports scientists in complying to the Swiss rules and regulations both for research data acquisition and data sharing.

She teaches brain MRI and fMRI applications at the Lemanic Neuroscience Doctoral School as well as at the Université of Franche-Comté.
