A large part of the week’s activities will take place on the Dorigny Campus of the University of Lausanne.
Ideally located on the shores of Lake Geneva, the Dorigny campus is an exceptional site. The campus buildings are surrounded by greenery and set in a park offering a variety of beautiful green spaces ranging from forests, streams and agricultural fields to a fine sandy beach. Lausanne can be reached by public transport in a few minutes.
Locations of the events
The conference activities will take place in the Anthropole Building (except Wednesday afternoon, on the HEP Vaud site).
Metro Stop : UNIL – Chamberonne, Line 1
There will be a registration desk on the conference venue (ground floor ANTHROPOLE building in the Hall 1031) staffed throughout the week in case you have questions / need assistance.
Restaurant: a large choice of food is offered by the UNIL cafeterias.
Luggage storage will be available in this building. However, capacity is limited. We recommend that you drop off your luggage in advance in your accommodation if possible.
A resting/nursing room for parents with babies is also available. To access it, the reception team (opposite Room 1031) will provide you with an access badge.
Technical/material issues
You should bring your own computer (and if possible a USB stick) if you intend to use an audiovisual support for your presentation (Powerpoint etc).
Remember that Swiss plugs are not compatible with all European plugs. The Swiss plug can be used with a European flat plug (C). For other devices you will need an adapter or a travel plug. Please bring your own adapter.
