The scientific steering group is the main agenda-setting body of the research consortium. Through a process of collective deliberation, the research partners and associated experts define the conceptual framework of the common research design, the contents of the doctoral training programme, the scope of training or expert missions for members of the Advisory board, and the priorities of the collective publication and dissemination strategy (via joint North-South and junior-senior researcher publications in particular).
