Galyna Pidpruzhnykova
EPFL Alumna | Executive Coach | Strategy Consultant

Galyna is a neuroscientist and strategist with 10 years of experience in the biopharma industry across Eastern Europe, the EU, and the US. She previously served as Senior Director of Business and Commercial Strategy at atai Life Sciences, working on new treatments for mental health. She now consults on introducing psychedelic‑assisted therapies in Ukraine, focusing on PTSD and depression, and also coaches leaders using Conscious Leadership principles to improve collaboration and resolve conflicts.
In her talk, Galyna will share her transition from academia to industry and how she builds projects with real impact in mental health. She will also discuss how to bring ideas to life while balancing innovation, risk, and career security.

This interactive 25‑minute large‑scale workshop helps early‑career life scientists tackle common fears about networking, applications, interviews, and rejection. Through a fun quiz and small‑group chats led by career advisors, you’ll gain practical tips, fresh perspectives, and the confidence to take your next steps. A quick, honest starting point for your career journey.
The workshop runs throughout the afternoon with three distinct 25-minute sessions scheduled at 15.30 | 16.00 | 16.30, designed for 50-60 participants per session. It is ideal for anyone seeking clarity on the key steps involved in transitioning to a first job—without delving into overly personal concerns.

Mandatory registration for all activities at the CV Desk from 9:00 to 9:45. Limited number of places: first come, first served.

The traditional CV check given by the university services is not offered during the LSCD, as you have access to this service all year round on campus.
