The main venue of the conference is the Amphimax building, located in the Dorigny campus of the University of Lausanne. The talks will be held in Auditoire A and B in the Amphimax (you can check the Resources page to access the UNIL Campus Plan website). The nearest public transport stop is UNIL-Sorge which is only two minutes walking distance from Amphimax.
To reach the conference venue by metro, take the M1 metro line and get off at the UNIL-Sorge stop.
From Lausanne Gare, this will involve taking the M2 line to reach Lausanne Flon and then the M1 line to reach UNIL-Sorge following this route.
From Renens Gare, this will involve taking the M1 line in the direction of Lausanne Flon to reach UNIL-Sorge following this route.
The conference venue can also be reached by using Bus 31 to get off at the UNIL-Sorge stop. Bus 31 runs from Renens Gare to UNIL-Sorge following this route.
Public Transport Zones
UNIL-Sorge is located in the public transport zone 12 of Grand Lausanne, so you will need a valid ticket that covers this zone. From Lausanne (located in Zone 11) you will need a two zone 11+12 ticket (CHF 3.70, valid for 1 hour or CHF 9.30, valid all day).
If you are staying in a hotel, hostel or at a campsite in Lausanne you will receive a Lausanne Transport Card which will allow you to use public transport (bus, train, metro) for free during your stay in the Lausanne area.
If you are staying in any other accommodation, you will need to purchase tickets separately.
