Import and export works to ORCID records and english interface for Serval in MyUNIL
The import and export works from Serval to ORCID records is possible since the 30 August 2017. More information is available in the article ORCID renforce la visibilité des publications scientifiques UNIL published in CiNN of autumn 2017.
The University of Lausanne’s portal, MyUNIL, has also an english version. Now you can also use the interface of Serval in MyUNIL in english.
Future features
- Added additional formats for imports and exports.
- Simplification of embargoes by leaving only two embargos of choice (internal, public) in place of the three possible embargos currently (UNIL, WEB, SERVAL). Removal of embargoes on metadata.
- Added informations and help for PDF/A format.

Serval in english
The site of Serval is available in English.
A multilingual version of Info Serval and the entry of publications in MyUnil are in preparation.
Adding Endnote XML and HTML Exports
You can now export your results in Endnote XML and HTML formats (other export formats will be added later).
Two different types of exports are available:
- Export
Allows you to export up to 50 records that you have selected. This export is available in MyUnil and on the Serval website. - Export all
Allows you to export all the records found by the last search you made. This export is exclusively available from MyUnil.
