Sarah, Julian and Pascale attended the Annual Congress of the Swiss Society of Microbiology 2026 which took place in Montreux. A fantastic opportunity to meet fellow microbiologists from around Switzerland and discuss the latest science!
Julian had the opportunity to present his research during a talk titled: “From correlations to interactions: predicting and engineering butyrate production in microbial communities”.
Sarah took this opportunity to present her PhD work, “The Causes and Consequences of Early-Life Malnutrition”, during the poster session.
Pascale presented the work from the lab during her keynote talk about “Strain transmission and microbiome dynamics in early life” summarizing the recent research especially about the VITERBI GUT cohort.
