The Journal of European Periodical Studies (JEPS) is looking for new editorial team members!

 

The Journal of European Periodical Studies (JEPS) is looking for new editorial team members to participate in the editing of the journal. Established in 2016, JEPS is the official journal of the European Society for Periodical Research. It is a bi-annual, peer-reviewed online open access journal devoted to the study of periodicals and newspapers in Europe from the seventeenth century to the present. It publishes research from a broad range of critical, theoretical and methodological perspectives, including, but not limited to, cultural history, literary studies, art history, gender studies, media studies, history of science and digital humanities.

The JEPS editorial team meets online on a monthly basis to discuss submissions and special issue proposals and to follow up on guest-edited special issues and the publishing schedule in general. If you are

  • an active participant in the field of periodical studies;
  • have excellent editorial skills or would like to develop them;
  • have a good working knowledge of English;
  • are at a place in your career where you can devote time to editorial work;
