The CREA Institute of Applied Economics at HEC Lausanne (UNIL) was mandated to assess the economic impact of the University of Lausanne (UNIL) on the canton of Vaud.
The result: each franc invested by the State generates 4.7 francs, or 1.73 billion francs and nearly 9,200 jobs.
Recognized for its expertise, the Institute uses a rigorous methodology to analyze the economic impact of institutions and companies.
This mandate is in addition to the many other studies conducted by CREA to inform strategic and economic decisions.
