Greenwashing – A form of cheating in economics

Finance Prof. Éric Jondeau from HEC Lausanne addresses the issue of greenwashing in a new podcast series by the University of Lausanne (UNIL), titled “Are you cheating?”.

This series available in French language features researchers from various faculties of UNIL discussing different forms of cheating in multiple academic disciplines.

This poses a risk to investors by funding less virtuous companies. However, evaluation tools exist to help identify genuinely committed companies, as well as more responsible banks.
