Lausanne is situated in the canton of Vaud, where there are many opportunities to enjoy Swiss culture and activities.
From 15 March 2024, participants will be able to register for the social activities via the registration platform. Please note that Lausanne and the surrounding area are very hilly. Some people may find this challenging.
Conference soirée
On Wednesday evening, we will be at the Olympic Museum for the conference soirée. In addition to a three-course menu (drinks included), attendees will have exclusive access to the museum’s exhibitions beforehand (18:00-20:00) at no additional cost.

City walking tour
On Tuesday afternoon, Lausanne Tourism will run a guided walk through the city for up to two hours.
COST: 12 CHF
Wine tasting in the Lavaux
On Thursday, there will be a wine tasting of 3 different wines, bread, and local cheese at Domaine de la Crausaz. The winery is located in the Lavaux region, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
COST: 30 CHF (transportation to Grandvaux is not included in the price but is covered by the Lausanne Transport Card)
