Workshop: The Spirit of Legislation: Agrarian Republican Reform Theory in the Enlightenment

On the 22th of February our research team was warmly welcomed by the New Europe College in Bucharest, the foremost institute of advanced studies in Romania. The workshop was an opportunity to discuss the issues of cultural and intellectual transfer, as well as XVIIIth and XIXth century modernisation, in a broader context, not limited to Switzerland, Poland and America.
